Last week was back to school for the kids -- all of 'em! WOO HOO! Sophie started Kindergarten this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is so ready (okay, me too) -- she's smarter than the boys were at that age too.
Everyone kept asking me how it felt to have 'the baby' start school, I honestly have no problem whatsoever with Sophia starting Kindergarten, it's JOEY starting MIDDLE SCHOOL that freaks me out. I remember the day HE started Kindergarten -- that was a weird day. Now he's two years away from High School! CRAZY! The kids are all situated in their classes and love their teachers. Johnny started 4th grade this year -- he holds Sophie's hand and takes her to class every morning.
Johnny had a clinic visit two weeks ago and his counts were really strong, they've been strong for the past few visits, so we are inching up his meds ever so slightly. Friday he goes for spinal, vincristine and pentamadine. The works. He seemed to be okay last week, tired and slightly pale so I will be interested to see what his counts look like on Friday.
