Last night he had a reaction to a platelet transfusion -- high fever and shakes, but once they gave him some steroids, thing started to settle down for him. He's very, very sick right now.
Welcome to Johnny's Blog. Just because Johnny has passed doesn't mean he lost the battle against cancer, Mike and I are not only going to continue the battle but we will also WIN! GAME ON cancer!

NO BIG IMPROVEMENTS
In some respects Johnny has had slight improvements -- his dangerously high WBC count is slowly inching down and some of his chemistry's look pretty good considering. He is still in pain, retaining fluid and sleeping a lot more. His lungs look 'cloudy' but don't show fluid accumluation, the doctor's think it's just the fluid he's retaining that is showing up. Or it could be the high WBC's showing up in his lungs.

Hang in there Johnny. Shut your eyes and smell the beach. Feel the sand between your toes and imagine you're riding a big wave. . .all the way down the line.
Feel better soon!
Hugs, Pam
It breaks my heart to know he feels so bad. Can't stand it. I seriously wish I could take his place so he could come home and hang out with his friends and skate. I would say surf too, but that's a mute point as there is no surf...just millions of jellyfish.
Tell Johnny we're waiting for him to kick all of this in the ASS and get back with us. We love him...
Kim
