Everyone will remember Johnny forever. You can count on that!
I hope you are able to take comfort knowing that others have been touched by your amazing son. And yes, you have 3 children, not 2 (as the question you asked on your blog). Always 3. It's nice knowing there's a little skater-dude in heaven watching over all our skaters here. He will not be forgotten. From one mother of an awesome skater son to another, Jennifer
romano family, what an incredible story in the paper this morning. As a 16 year old girl living in houston with no interest in skating or Tony Hawk, the story touched even my heart. I had a close family friend deal with cancer from age 3-7 and have seen the damage it can do. May God bless you in everything you do and let Johnny live on forever in your hearts. I hope you are doing okay with his passing and the destruction of hurricane ike. -kaitlin
I have been dreading to go to your link and read about Johnny's passing. I heard about it while my family evacuated to Houston during the storm and it made me so sad that I was ill for days. Last Sunday I read the beautiful article in the Houston Chronicle my daughter, Katrina, showed me and I reluctantly (fear of overwhelming sadness) read it and cried my heart out for you my dear lady. I wish I could see you guys back in Galveston; but it is now my turn to say how very sorry I am with your lost. You are a strong lady and I am very glad I have met you, Joey, and Sophie while you were in Galveston. My family will continue to keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. Connie Harris
Hi guys, it's Kristian. Just dropping in to say "hi." My mom shared the article with me. A great tribute to Johnny. The Johnny Skate Jam is this weekend?! I was at Star Pizza tonight and they had the flyer up on the wall for it. I was like, "whoa! Excellent!" http://skateboarder.com/ Julie, I read the post below on your day with Johnny. Wow! Greatness!
